As the title of this blog says, we’ve had 3 cancellations out of 3 gigs booked this year! Strange, isn’t it?
The first gig that never happened was at The Water Rats and it was cancelled by the promoter due to the snow. The second gig was at Dusk Till Dawn and it was cancelled by the promoter due to the band nights not being as successful as they expected. Now the third gig is cancelled because of illness (me having a high fever and a bad sore throat). I wanted to go and play anyway but I can hardly speak and the doctor told me to stay home and recover. It’s the first time ever that I have to cancel a gig. Not too bad considering we’ve been going since 2007.
Hopefully the rest of the year will be better! Just today 2 mins after we announced the gig cancellation we got a new gig offer for next Wednesday 27/3 at The Water Rats. For more details, click here.
